What is an informative talk?
It is a type of explanation or discussion wherein it contains useful, helpful or relevant information or details that enlightens the minds of the spectators. Informative talks usually involves a speaker, who will discuss a certain topic as the spectators listen carefully.

Informative talk gives educational and intellectual values to the spectators by expounding ideas which enables them to understand and digest in their minds. This is commonly used in forums, seminars, and lectures.

What is One-On-One Interview?
A one-on-one interview is an intentional process of getting to know what motivates another person. It helps to develop respect fro people of different backgrounds and is the foundation for work across differences.
A one-on-one involves a conscious exploration of another person’s interests, passions, most important relationships, and stories. One-on-ones depend on putting aside prejudgments and listening carefully and strategically. To find out other’s self-interest requires that you learn to listen in a particular way, with attention to body language, emotional tone, a sparkle in the eye. You identify what energizes and activates the other person.
One-on-ones aim at “public knowledge” – you are listening for people’s public interests and potential to take action with others.

What is a Panel Discussion?
Panel discussion is a public exchange of ideas with a goal of informing audience members about a particular subject or issue.
Panel discussions are used to delve into politics, science and community topics, as well as many other issues.
Purpose:
- To impart new information to the audience. This can be in the form of new ideas, different perspective on ideas, or how different groups come together to improve ideas.
- Public panel discussions- organized for common men problems
Examples: annual budget, educated and unemployment and Increase in price of things
- Educational panel discussions- Used in educational institutions to provide factual and conceptual knowledge and clarification of certain theories and principles. Sometimes these are organized to find out the solutions of certain problems.

Types of members in a panel discussion
- Instructor- Plays important role in the panel discussion. Plans how, where, when panel discussion will be organized. Prepares the schedule for panel discussion.
- Moderator- Keeps the discussion on the theme and encourages interaction among members. Should have mastery on the theme or problem of the discussion. At the end of the discussion, moderator summarizes and highlights the point. He expresses thanks to the panelists and audience.
- Panelists- About 4-10 panelists are in the discussion. All panelists must have mastery of the subject matter. Members sit in front of the audience.
- Audience - Allowed putting questions and seeking clarification. They can present their point of view and their experiences regarding the theme.
